Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the wild west in an excellent game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the croupier, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers compete against other players. By wagering against the dealer, starting players do not need to fret about other, more skillful players winning their money.

A further Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game pace, newcomers will be able to take their time and scheme while not having to make quick choices.

It is also much simpler to enjoy for an extended time with just a tiny bit of cash seeing as, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the dealer is given seven cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
