Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the west in a wonderful game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the dealer, not like the majority of other poker games that players play with other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, beginner players do not need to fret about any other, more experienced gamblers winning their moolla.

Another Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game pace, novices can take their time and strategize while not having to make hasty selections.

It’s also easier to wager on for a very long time with basically a small bit of cash after all, to lose, both of your hands needs to be under each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the croupier gets seven cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
