Ah, the steam. If a poker gambler states at no time to have looked down the shadow of an upcoming poker tilt – they are either lying or they haven’t been betting long enough. After all we are assumingly (nearly all of us) playing poker for one reason – to make money, it certainly makes sense that we will gamble accordingly to maximize profits. Now let us say you are up one hundred dollars off of a 100 dollars deposit, and you suffer a gigantic hit in a No Limits game and your bankroll is at $120. You’ve lost $80 in a hand where you should have picked up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and had a ten to one advantage. And that guy! He banged you out on the river? – Well hold it right there. This is a quintessential choice for a brand-new gambler to start tilting. They really just blew too much money on one round that they really should have won and they are agitated
