Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the wild west in an awesome game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the croupier, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers compete with other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginning players don’t have to worry about any other, more knowledgeable people taking their mulla.

Another Pai Gow edge is the fairly leisurely game play, beginners are able to take their time and strategize without having to make hasty choices.

It is also simpler to play for an extended time with just a tiny amount of cash since, to not win, both of your hands has to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the croupier is given 7 cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and a 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
