Online poker has become globally famous lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to chemin de fer than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the dealer rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or different kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the dealer saying "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course all of the other players acquire 5 cards each. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you must in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call bet’s value is equal to your beginning ante, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Bowing out means that your wager goes instantaneously to the casino. After the wager is the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, with an amount in accordance with the original bet. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The casino pays money even with your original bet and set expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
